• Question: do stars move?

      Sure! We see the stars move in the sky during the night because the Earth is spinning underneath the stars (just the same reason that we see the Sun move through the sky during the daytime). But, even more than that stars are always moving in space. The Sun, for example is orbiting around the center of our Galaxy along with the other 300 billion stars that are part of it, but the Galaxy is so big it takes millions of years for the Sun to make a full orbit even though it is travelling at many kilometers per second (that’s per second not per hour! Really fast!)
