If I was allowed to be anything, I’d struggle to choose. I’d either want to be a footballer (just like I did when I was growing up!) or an astronaut. Both are hard work and I don’t think I’d be very good at either of them.

If I wasn’t allowed to be a scientist anymore and I had to look for a different job, I’d probably become a teacher! I have to teach students as part of my work as a scientist, and I really enjoy trying to explain how cool science is, so I guess that would make me a pretty OK teacher 🙂

I love working with computers and technical work so I think I would probably be some sort of computer programmer. I also like travelling and meeting new people, so there would definitely have to be some sort of international aspect to the job!

I’d like to try scientific journalism, that way I would still learn lots of fascinating things everyday, and I’d be able to share my passion for discovering things with people.

I’d also like to open my own bakery. I really love baking, making bread, working the dough with my hands, inventing new original sweets and cakes and all sorts of delicious things! And most of all, I love sharing them with people 😀
