I think getting things wrong is frustrating, especially when it’s wrong because you missed a minus sign or mistyped a number!

      Being permanently jet lagged !
But that’s also one of the best things, because it means I get to travel everywhere, all over the world!

When something you are working on does not work it is really frustrating, especially if you are putting in a lot of hours of hard work. However, the feeling you get when it does finally work is amazing!

The stuff that gets in the way of you doing science. We all have so many things we want to research but it can be that you don’t get the funding for that, which means you can’t do the project you want. Or, it can be that (like all of us here) you only have a short contract so at some point instead of focussing on your research you have to start looking for a job somewhere else, probably move house all that stuff, before you can get back to working full time on the things you are interested in. That is very frustrating!
